Prologue shot and directed all the live-action and animation in creating a series of promos advertising Ford’s annual Summer Spectacular, a period in which some great deals on new Ford brand cars can be found at their retail dealerships. To set the tone of excitement Ford wanted to project, each promo follows the format of a summer blockbuster film trailer under the pretense of a different genre, with the actions depicted in each tying in with new features being advertised on screen. The genres range from a friendly family comedy to a darkly intense sci-fi thriller. Prologue then created a 3D Ford studio logo that gets briefly displayed at the outset of each trailer, as well as the typography which uses a font that most audiences would equate with the respective genre of each promo.
