END TITLE | MAIN TITLE
For Terrence Malick’s The New World, Prologue matched the exploration theme of the era by blending period artwork with motion graphics and elegant typography. Prologue created the animated maps that expose uncharted lands to the audience, as if they are one of the settlers arriving to The New World. The rest of the sequence uses authentic illustrations from the era to transport the audience to the setting of the film. This mix of stylization and historical artwork was used again for the end title sequence that Prologue also created for the film.
